Ok Corral was better than I expected. We had ribs and fajitas which were very good and enjoyed the nice view of the beach. After that Meg got some ice cream and we spent a little time at the casino. When I read online that the first casino in town was the largest in Antigua I found that funny because it wasn't really that big. This one was reallllllllly small. I wanted to play blackjack but didn't really feel like it and the one table open was pretty full and I didn't want to play without Meg playing. She was more into the video poker.
After the casino we relaxed in the room, had some champagne and that was pretty much it.
Today ate some breakfast (exciting) and picked up some pictures and waited around for our 1:30 airport shuttle. Customs going out wasn't as bad as coming in but still no thrill. Flight was fine but the customs in Miami were terrible. We had to go through a bunch of stations which weren't clearly marked and eventually had to re check our bags and go through security all over again. It took at least an hour up to an hour and a half. I couldn't keep track but it was bad. I'm glad had a lot of time to waste between flights.
One thing that frustrated us was when we were at customs they checked some of the stuff that we brought back. We bought two bowls made of palm leaves (I think?) and they were investigating if we were allowed to bring them back. After ten minutes or so one of the guys threw them in the garbage and said that we couldn't keep them because there might be these certain bugs on them that we can't bring back into the country. Meg saw someone else who was also at Sandals who had a hat made out of the same material so she was pretty upset, understandably. We pointed that out and another guy came up and said that it was fine that we kept them so luckily we were able to bring them home. It would have really sucked if that second guy didn't come up and tell us because we would have gone insane.
Fight home was tough because it was so late and it was hard to sleep sitting straight up. Home now since about 1 or so.
We really enjoyed the trip. At first I thought it would be weird just having couples there but I really liked not having kids all around after a while. It was also nice having it all inclusive so we didn't have to pay for any meals or drinks. I would definitely go to another Sandals resort in the future and hopefully soon. I'm not looking forward to getting back into the normal routine and I know Meg isn't either.
Also wanted to add that I have probably about 10 mosquito bites all over right now because I think there were a few in our room each night and Meg barely has any. :(
Bed time probably and I'll really try to post some pictures tomorrow.

part four
yesterday (Thurs) we woke up assuming we would be doing our boat and snorkeling trip but since it was supposed to still rain and it was kinda dark they moved it to today. Yesterday, we ate breakfast at Mario's and claimed our spot at the pool which we didn't end up using. Turns out someone took our spot and something of Meg's anyway. We decided to hang out by the beach for most of the day which was nice. I was trying to avoid the sun since I felt like I got enough sun from a few days back.
I enjoy relaxing and reading most of the time but we went in the water a few times. It was fun and a great view. (Yeah pics are all coming at once it looks like) Dinner was at Mario's for Italian food. There was a 20-25 min wait to get in and there were no reservations required there but we wish we made some anyway. The meal was very good. I got something with shrimp and mussels in it with pasta. It reminded me a little of Olive Garden. The dessert was just as good. A chocolate explosion kinda of like Roy's but don't worry it wasn't as good as that.
We came back and Meg started watching a movie so I fell asleep because the movie sucked and for some reason she left me sleeping all night. I wanted to go to the casino but whatevarrrrrrrrr.
Today was the boat tour and snorkeling. I wasn't really looking forward to it because I'm not a huge water person, obviously, but I decided I would because I'm an amazing person. I'm glad we decided to do this one because it was from 9 or so to 12:30 and the one we originally scheduled was from 9 to 4:30 which would have been way too long.
The tour was great and the area is beautiful. If we somehow fall into a crap load of money I think I'd want to move to the island with a bunch of rich people. The snorkeling was difficult for me because it was hard getting used to breathing through my mouth and then salt water would get in your month but it was a good time. I would consider doing it again as long as we had people watching over us. They stopped the boat in the middle of the water near a reef and they were extremely helpful and good with us. It was a good time. We have some pics from there too.
After that we at lunch at Baysides and hung on the beach for a few hours. Meg really wanted a bowl that one of the vendors was making so we found him and had him make us a few things. They're pretty cool and hopefully they don't fall apart on the road home. You should see them. OMG.
Tonight we have dinner at Ok Corral. Tex Mex. We're not ready to come home but it must be done I guess. We want to just live here and relax. It's been great because everyone is really nice including all the vendors and everyone. Time to get ready for dinner.

part three
beach was nice yesterday because I didn't get too much sun. We had reservations at Eleanor's. The meal was pretty good with both of us getting an appetizer, meal, and dessert. It was the perfect amount of food so I didn't feel like I forced myself to eat Meg's leftovers or anything like a normal meal.
Sat around here after breakfast for a little while. Watched some of Unstoppable which kept me watching. It's not bad. Hung out at the pool for a while and read. Again, I avoided the sun because I'm already in pain and it's hard enough to sleep certain ways. We bought some sun tan spray which was $28 or so. Yeah, nice deal.
Dinner at the sushi bar was pretty great. The food was very good and we were in and out within an hour or so. It started raining softly a while ago but it's no big deal because it feels nice. Later tonight we might go to the casino next door or tomorrow.
Few things
There have been a lot more English people than I thought. I enjoy their accent and how things are said. I wonder if they feel the same about me.
A few times we've been walking with workers coming towards us. Since they drive on the left side of the road I feel like their initial reaction is to walk to the left side of the path which it has been a few times. Right?

part two
Hello friends.
yesterday we sat out on the beach for a while. I guess I suck at applying sun screen because I have redness with white splotches so I guess it didn't spread like I assumed. After reading on the beach and going in the water a few times (wish it was clear water) we relaxed at the pool and drank a lot of fruity drinks. Meg wasn't feeling so well after all the drinking and pizza eating so we napped and woke up late and grabbed some burgers around 11 or so.
Today we went into town early. There were a lot of people and taxis and lots of people trying to get us to go on tours and other miscellaneous stuff. There were a lot of jewelry stores that we went into because Meg wanted to see how much stuff was and if there was anything worth purchasing. Everything seemed a lot more expensive than at home. In a few of the stores it was hard finding anything under a few hundred dollars. We bought a few random things but nothing massive. We also went into the Kings Casino in town and Meg lost a few bucks on her weirdo games. I was going to play some blackjack but I figured we can head over to the casino right next to us soon anyway.
Just ate lunch and now relaxing before going out the the beach. The roads were really bumpy and I felt like we could have gotten into an accident multiple times. A tad scary.
Think that's all minus a few meals and other events that people probably don't care about. Tonight we have dinner reservations so I have to dress up nice. I'm looking forward to going to the sushi bar soon and hopefully not gettin burned anymore.

Pics coming soon but I'm too lazy to hook up the camera.

Quick Vacation Blog
We got here (Antigua) on Saturday. Flights were fine except on one of them we had to sit on the aisles next to each other so we weren't sitting right next to each other. Whatever, it could have been worse.
We waited in like for about an hour and a half at customs because a few other flights arrived around the same time we did and we were near the ass of the line. The drive here was funny because it's hard getting used to being on the other side of the road and the driver was insane and swerving in and out.
The room here is nice and having air conditioning is a must with the weather being so hot. Saturday night we ate at Cricketer's (English pub). Food was solid. Last night we ate at Bayside and had a seafood platter which was good. We sat right next to the beach which was really nice.
Eventually we'll get some sushi and other yummy stuff. We relaxed at the pool for a while yesterday and will probably go back today. We were supposed to go into town today to shop but that was cancelled so we're going tomorrow and there's a water tour that we're going to on Wednesday.
I like seeing the random cats and lizards around here. The weather is perfect. I just wish it was a little windier at times. That's all I have for now and I know it was random writing but deal with it. Maybe pics coming at some point?
